The Monticello Library endeavors to offer services to all age groups.
Alternative Formats
Local Assisted Living and Nursing Homes: Each month, our Adult Services Manager takes requests and delivers materials to seniors who still want to read and enjoy books and audio books to seniors who can't get out and about as much anymore. If you would like to have this set up for your relative, please contact the Activities Director at the nursing home where they live and have them contact us to set up service for them.
Homebound: Service is available to seniors who live at home and are not able to come visit the library and check out materials. Please contact the Adult Services Manager to request setting up service for them at 574.583.2665 ext. 3307 or email
Alternative Formats
- Large Print: These easy to read, large font editions are helpful for patrons who have difficultly reading small type or worry about eyestrain. Our collection is extensive.
- Audio Books: Our audio book collection, in addition to being useful for commuters can be used by those that have difficulty reading.
