This workshop explores how color influences our emotions, thoughts, and cultural understandings. Grounded in color psychology, design thinking, and mindfulness, the workshop provides participants with both hands-on and reflective experiences. This session focuses on introducing people to emotional and cultural color associations, as well as gentle reflection on these connections and personal associations. If you're looking to do more this summer, make sure to Color Our World and yours, and REGISTER before the class gets full!This workshop is designed for adults and teens 14+; younger participants may attend with a parent or guardian if they’re comfortable with a quieter, more reflective environment.

There are so many different names for colors, especially when it comes to paint colors. For example, there is "Atomic Vomit Green" or "Hamster Cuddles," both legitimate names for colors! In this program, we will be taking these names and turning them into a work of art, and not one that you can paint. Instead, we will be using the titles of the paint colors and the paint chips in our own works of poetry!

Usually you cannot decorate your clothes but this craft is an exception.  We have special fabric markers so you can make your own unique set of socks!  There is a limited number of spaces so make sure to register.

Circle City Steel is a steel drum band, based in Indianapolis that brings the music of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys, and many more to the Midwest.

Register and join us at the Bluestem Nature Center to learn how to make your own stamps from pink erasers! We will provide patrons with 2 pink erasers and carving tools, this will be enough to make 4 stamps (1 on each side.) We will also send you home with your carving tools so you can make more stamps at home!

Enjoy five distinct wines produced using the various grapes that grow around the midwest, and enjoy them paired with or'dourves for a fuller, richer, and tastier experience.
