Library Closing for Move

The Monticello-Union Township Public Library is preparing for a huge upgrade! We will be preparing for construction, beginning in 2025. The Library will move to a temporary location for the duration of construction. Our new temporary location will be at 934 N Main St between Ace Hardware and King Buffet.

To prepare ourselves to best serve you, we will close beginning on December 11th to begin our moving process to our temporary location. During this time the building and in person services will not be available. Transit service will not be available. Our digital catalogues through apps like Libby and Hoopla will remain open, free, and usable for any of our patrons; as well as Kanopy.

We have tentatively set up our re-open date as January 6th, 2025. The hours of operation will be limited.
